Play it safe! If you’re up for an off-piste adventure, make sure you check in with one of our freeride checkpoints at the Hochalmbahn or the Kringsalmbahn and get clued up about avalanche warnings as well as terrain features such as snow depths, slope exposures, and daily temperatures.

Explore the Obertauern region on skis. The famous Tauernrunde takes you from lift to lift and from piste to piste across the entire village. Depending on your level of experience you choose your path and glide through perfect snow either in a clockwise or counter-clockwise direction. Simply follow the signposts and you can’t get lost.
